Letter: Biden-Harris show success

President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris ran for office on the promise to move quickly to deliver results for working families and our beloved America.

That’s what Joe and Kamala have done. They changed the course of the pandemic and rescued our economy. They rallied the world to support Ukraine. They started to rebuild our crumbling infrastructure. They gave us the first meaningful gun violence reduction legislation in 30 years. They delivered on the most aggressive climate and environmental justice agenda in American history. There was the historic student debt relief for middle-class families and they expanded benefits and services for toxin-exposed veterans. The Chips and Science Act is bringing back jobs from overseas. They cut child poverty in half through the America Rescue Plan. Joe’s prescription drug law capped drug prices at $2,000 per year for seniors. More people in America have health insurance than ever before.

The list is much bigger. But if America is smart, they will let Kamala add to it over the next four years. Meanwhile, I will miss Joe. He is a truly good person and as president, his list of accomplishments is substantial. Thanks, Joe.
