Suspicious devices left at an abandoned home were detonated Monday after the Clark County Sheriff’s Office called in the regional explosive detonation unit.

Deputies were called to 7108 N.E. 133rd Ave. after employees hired by a bank to clean up the property called 911, according to a news release. When the employees arrived at the home, they discovered a broken window and writing on the walls that indicated someone might be living on the property.

The 911 caller asked for a deputy to investigate whether anyone was inside the house. While checking the property, deputies found “suspicious devices” outside the residence, the news release said.

Neighboring streets around the property were temporarily closed while the suspicious devices were removed and detonated in a controlled explosion.

The sheriff’s office is continuing to investigate.
