Fall family fun

The Camas-Washougal Harvest Fest is 3 to 10 p.m. Friday and noon to 10 p.m. Saturday at Marina Park, 24 S. A St., Washougal. Hear music by The Eagles’ tribute band Eagle Eyes, Camas-based Cadillacs for Everyone and Washougal’s Wayne Havrelly. Admission to the Family Fun Zone starts at $5 per person. The butler did it

The Magenta Theater, 1108 Main St., Vancouver, presents “Murdered to Death,” a spoof of the best of Agatha Christie traditions, running Friday through Oct. 13. This play, set in an English manor in the 1930s, follows a host of quirky characters entangled in a whirlwind of misunderstandings and misadventures. Showtimes are 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday as well as Oct. 3, 4, 5, 10, 11 and 12. Matinee shows are 2 p.m. Sunday and Oct. 6, 12 and 13. Tickets are $25 if purchased at www.magentatheater.com or $28 at the door.

Make tracks

The Great Train Swap Meet, 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Saturday, features trains and material in all scales as well as collectibles and memorabilia. Admission is $10 at 9 a.m., $5 starting at 9:30 a.m. and $3 for students. Children under 6 are free with a paid adult. Parking is free; use the North Parkway Avenue lot near the north entrance of the Battle Ground High School gymnasium at 250 N. Parkway, Battle Ground.

Safety first

The Camas-Washougal Fire Department Open House is 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Station 42, 4321 N.W. Parker St., Camas, with kitchen fire demonstrations, a house fire simulation with sprinklers, a vehicle extrication and K-9 unit demonstration. See exhibits focused on health, safety and emergency preparedness. Exhibits include fire extinguisher demonstrations, emergency preparedness tips and information on community support after crisis. Kids will enjoy balloon art and face painting. Ice cream, hot dogs and treats will be provided.

Sweet harmony

Battle Ground Community United Methodist Church, 10300 N.E. 199th St., Battle Ground, will host a Music Fest featuring Misty Mamas singing bluegrass, gospel, country and folk tunes at 7 p.m. Saturday. Admission is a suggested donation of $20 and a canned food item. Proceeds benefit the North County Community Food Bank. The evening includes refreshments, trivia and raffles for a handmade quilt, a romance package at the Heathman Lodge and a wire sculpture by a Battle Ground artist.
