A 69-year-old Amboy woman was identified as the person killed in a March 19 crash near Main Street in Battle Ground, the Clark County Medical Examiner’s Office said Tuesday.

Lura Victoria Taylor died from blunt head and neck injuries, according to the agency, which ruled Taylor’s death an accident.

Battle Ground police responded to the crash on Southwest 20th Avenue just south of Main Street about 2:15 p.m., according to an earlier statement from the city.

One vehicle was turning south onto 20th Avenue from a private driveway when it was hit by another southbound vehicle, according to the statement from the city.

Two people in one of the vehicles were badly injured and were taken to an area hospital by ambulance. One of the two, Taylor, died of her injuries, according to the city’s statement.

Officials have not released an update on the condition of the second person in that vehicle or if there were injuries to any occupants of the second vehicle.

The Clark County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Unit is assisting Battle Ground Police with the investigation.
