Experts caution tariffs likely to drive up cost of cars domestically

The Port of Vancouver, the largest American gateway for Japanese car manufacturer Subaru, could be hit by the nation’s new auto tariffs.

President Donald Trump announced earlier this year his plans to institute a 25 percent tariff on foreign-built cars and car parts imported into the U.S., a pledge that became official Wednesday.
