That mall life never goes out of style at Vancouver Mall

While malls across the county have closed and been abandoned, Clark County's biggest mall thrives with locally owned stores and family experiences

Over nearly five decades, Vancouver Mall has survived the rise of big-box stores and online shopping, the Great Recession and the COVID-19 pandemic, even as thousands of other malls have shut their doors.

Vancouver Mall draws between 20,000 and 25,000 people on a typical Saturday, said Tracy Peters, general manager of the shopping center.
