RIDGEFIELD — On the first day of class, by way of an icebreaker, Victor Gonzalez’s algebra instructor wanted everyone to pick a personally meaningful number to discuss with their new classmates.
Gonzalez’s number was already obvious: No. 1.
Gonzalez was the first student to walk through the door on the first day of classes at Clark College’s new Boschma Farms campus on Pioneer Street in Ridgefield.
