Six cruise ships to set sail on Columbia River this year

Industry expected to bring 20,000 tourists through Southwest Washington

Southwest Washington’s waterfront walkers will likely see ships sailing the Columbia River as the region’s cruise season kicks off for the year.

Six cruise ships are set to sail the Columbia River this year, bringing some 20,000 tourists through Southwest Washington.

The local cruise industry has changed in recent years.
