Letter: Speak out to protect Greenland

By Arthur Ungar, VANCOUVER
Published: April 14, 2025, 6:00am

The Atlantic has reported on President Donald Trump’s continuing threat to occupy Greenland. He is now starting to plan how to achieve this. Because Greenland is a voluntary territory of Denmark, this might become an attack on our NATO ally. As Trump’s recent tariff actions have shown, we should not assume that an outrageous action is not possible. Write or call your senators and tell them that they must act to stop this threat. Also write the White House and hope that saner heads will prevail.
