Two people were taken to the hospital, one in critical condition, after a three-car collision Saturday morning in east Vancouver.
Vancouver Fire was dispatched at 11:29 a.m. Saturday to a three-car accident at the intersection of Northeast 162nd Avenue and Northeast Seventh Street.
Firefighters arrived to find all three vehicles — a minivan and two small sedans — had sustained major damage.
The minivan and one sedan came to rest in the southbound lanes of Northeast 162nd Avenue just as it begins to turn into Northeast 164th Avenue. A third car, a silver Subaru, came to rest in the grass shoulder on the west side of Northeast 162nd Avenue.
Vancouver Fire said one person was taken to the hospital in critical condition. A second was treated at the scene and taken to the hospital, while a third declined ambulance transport.
