Vancouver City Councilor Kim Harless is seeking reelection, the Vancouver native announced Wednesday.
Harless defeated John Blom in 2021 to win the city council Position 1 seat, which she’s held since to 2022.
“Vancouver has made significant advances over the last few years, but there’s more work ahead,” Harless said in a news release. “My lived experience and deep roots here offer a valuable perspective to council so that we can build a city that is equitable, affordable and healthy for everyone.”
Harless’ campaign is focused on meeting the city’s climate goals, improving affordable housing and providing solutions for homelessness, as well as advancing equity and justice.
