Complaints about pets in food establishments fall in Clark County

Pets are allowed in some food establishments, as long as certain criteria are met

Dogs seem to be out and about with their owners in stores, restaurants and even grocery stores in recent years.

Overall, there have been fewer complaints about dogs at restaurants and grocery stores since Clark County changed the rules in 2019 and the state followed suit in March 2022.

But there have been some issues, including a dog attacking a toddler at a Walmart in east Vancouver in December.
