A car carrier semitruck went off the road Wednesday morning on state Highway 14 west of Lieser Road in Vancouver, backing up traffic during the rush-hour commute.
The incident occurred shortly after 7 a.m., according to a news release from the Vancouver Fire Department.
Fire crews arrived to find the semitruck buried deep in the mud of the westbound side of the highway, according to the department.
No one was injured.
According to the news release, the department worked with the Washington State Patrol to divert traffic at the scene, as well as the Washington Department of Ecology to investigate possible diesel and antifreeze leakage from the semitruck.
