Journey Theater hosts auditions for “Singin’ in the Rain”Free

Journey Theater is hosting auditions for “Singin’ in the Rain,” with performances July 25-Aug. 2. Roles are open to any actor, singer or tap-dancer ages 13 and older. Auditions are by appointment only March 22 and 25. Callbacks are April 12. Rehearsals are Fridays, Saturdays and some Thursdays from June 13 to July 18. Prepare 16 bars of a musical theater song that shows vocal range and technical ability for the audition. Bring an instrumental backing track (e.g., a downloaded audio file). Those who are auditioning for specific roles must be familiar with songs from the show. Headshots and theater resumes in addition to audition forms are required. Auditions will be closed.
