It should surprise no one that Donald Trump took the opportunity to denigrate diversity, equity and inclusion policies when 67 Americans died in the tragic air collision in the nation’s capital last Wednesday. Before all the bodies were recovered, before the black boxes from the plane and the helicopter were retrieved, prior to any investigation … the president, wearing his permanently plastered-on scowl, took the same approach he always does when anything goes wrong: Blame it on something or someone.
