Clark County Public Works is accepting applications for volunteer park hosts at Captain William Clark Regional Park at Cottonwood Beach.
The park host will live in a county-owned residence and assist with park maintenance and visitor safety. Responsibilities include cleaning restrooms, opening and closing gates, emptying trash, picking up litter and reporting emergencies or maintenance needs. The position runs through Dec. 31, with the possibility of renewal.
The 75-acre park features scenic views of Mount Hood, a 3.1-mile trail along the Columbia River, beach access and picnic shelters.
