LONGVIEW — Colin Graeme of Seton Catholic was selected as the outstanding swimmer of the meet and Hockinson captured the team title at the 2A District 4 boys swimming championship meet Saturday at Mark Morris High School.

Graeme, a senior, won the 50-yard freestyle in 22.75 seconds — winning by more than a full second — and won the 100 butterfly by almost three seconds in 57.41 seconds. He also anchored Seton Catholic to a pair of runner-up finishes in the 200 free relay and 400 free relay.

Ridgefield had a pair of dual district champions in juniors Lincoln Swift and Nathan Kim.

Swift won the 200 freestyle by four seconds in 1:54.39 and the 500 freestyle by more than 18 seconds in 5:05.43.

Kim won the 200 individual medley in 2:13.92, then edged out Dilan Andersen of Hockinson by 0.02 seconds to win the 100 freestyle in 53.87 seconds.

Swift and Kim also swam on winning relays for the Spudders in the 200 medley relay and 400 free relay.

No race was closer than the 100 breaststroke which ended in a dead heat. Anakin Isenhart of Mark Morris shared the district title with Cole Nylander of Aberdeen, both timing in 1:05.50.

Hockinson got its only win of the day in the 200 free relay behind Andersen, Evan Bergstrom, Adam Wendler and Ryder Hough, winning in 1:36.86.

But the Hawks had enough podium finished to outdistance Aberdeen 202-195.5 for the team title. Ridgefield (168) took third place.
