Interested in running for office but not sure where to begin? The League of Women Voters of Clark County is hosting a nonpartisan training session titled You Can Run for Office!
The session runs 9 a.m. to noon March 8 at CDM Caregiving Services, 2300 Northeast Andresen Road, Vancouver.
Participants can take an assessment about their eligibility for an office and learn the basics of filing to run. Local elected officials will be on hand to share the benefits and pitfalls of holding office.
Registration is required by March 3, with a $10 registration fee. More information can be found at lwvclarkcounty.org.
