Letter: Trump/Musk deconstructing U.S.

Homelessness is a top news story, with more localities every day implementing camping bans and evicting those living outdoors. President Donald Trump and his personal hatchet man, Elon Musk, are busy deconstructing all government agencies in their attempt to turn America’s democracy into an oligarchy/dictatorship where no one with less than a million bucks can succeed.

Thousands of dedicated government employees are being fired daily to satisfy the maniacal plan to destroy America. If employees accept the “invitation” to quit, they will likely be shocked to learn that the (unfunded) “pay through September” offer was just another lie. Sadly, quitting a job is disqualifying for unemployment benefits. Of course, the Musk/Trump duo may well axe that department as well.

Additionally, the thousands of private companies that rely on government contracts and subsidies will likely follow suit with more massive layoffs. When incomes and sales go away, expect even more layoffs as businesses struggle to survive. Predictably, as citizens run out of money, and all social service programs have been eliminated, homelessness will increase dramatically. And that will be only the beginning.
