Visitors to the Gifford Pinchot National Forest should expect fewer services as the second Trump administration lays off federal workers.

The administration has not released an official tally of staff cuts, but nonprofit organizations that collaborate with the U.S. Forest Service are gathering whatever information they can about what’s happening locally.
