Clark College, WSUV await guidance from state before dismantling diversity, equity and inclusion programs

College officials say they remain committed to students’ access to education

Colleges in Clark County didn’t make any sudden moves after the U.S. Department of Education’s Feb. 14 letter ordering them to dismantle any institutional programming that considers race within two weeks or risk loss of funding.

The “Dear Colleague” letter went to all schools and colleges nationwide. It gave them until Feb.
