Port of Vancouver’s new Terminal 1 dock just one of many projects in progress at area ports

Woodland, Ridgefield, Camas-Washougal all have major developments in the works or ready to move forward

Ports across Southwest Washington are working on major development projects. From waterfront developments to marine terminals to public markets, ideas are flowing.

Crews removed nearly 1,000 wood pilings from the Port of Vancouver’s century-old Terminal 1 dock in 2024.

The work wraps up the first phase of a project that will include a new dock and a highly anticipated public market.
