VANCOUVER – A local choir, Chor Anno, has been named co-winner (with The Pasadena Chorale) of The American Prize in Choral Performance 2024 in the community division. Chor Anno was selected from applications reviewed recently from all across the United States.
The American Prize National Nonprofit Competitions in the Performing Arts is the nation’s most comprehensive series of contests in the performing arts. The American Prize is designed to recognize and reward the best performing artists, directors, ensembles and composers in the United States at professional, college/university, community and high school levels, based on submitted recordings.
Chor Anno is comprised of 38 singers, 38 singers, most of whom direct choirs in schools, colleges and churches in Washington and Oregon and is directed by Nicole C. Lamartine of Ellensburg.
