Letter: Don’t pay more for schools

By Ron Pulliam, Ridgefield
Published: January 9, 2025, 6:00am

Bill Baumann’s appeal for approval of school taxes (“Support Ridgefield levies,” Jan. 2) is really an appeal to pay for development excess. With little thought to the problems of rapid development they (developers and politicians) assume we locals will cover the cost and endure the congestion. If the horrendous increase in property tax revenue can’t cover the cost of overdevelopment then I say “NO.” Time to slow.
