LONGVIEW — Bigfoot skeptics and true believers alike will have plenty to do when the sQuatch Fest returns to Longview in the spirit of Washington’s favorite cryptid.
The annual event, hosted by the Kelso-Longview Chamber of Commerce, runs for two days. sQuatch Fest kicks off at 2 p.m. Jan. 24 at the Cowlitz County Events Center, with doors opening at 9 a.m. Jan. 25.
The all-ages event features appearances by speakers and researchers in the sasquatch community, documentary screenings, hands-on workshops, vendors, music and a beer and wine. Younger guests can explore the Kid’s Cave for arts and crafts.
Tickets are $35 for adults, $20 for kids ages 11-17 and $5 for kids 5-10. Kids younger than 5 get in free. Tickets are good for admission both Friday and Saturday. Movie tickets are an additional $10 for adults, $5 for kids or the matinee. Admission to the beer and wine garden is $20 and includes a glass and four drink tickets.
