Letter: Support Hockinson bond

As a grandmother, longtime Hockinson resident and retired educator, I urge our community to support the February bond election. This bond is about more than buildings; it’s about securing a brighter future for our children. With our district’s growth, we need more classroom space and updated facilities to accommodate the increasing student population. A new elementary school will alleviate overcrowding, and remodeling existing buildings will provide modern learning environments for all students. Let’s ensure that every child has the space, resources and opportunities to succeed. Please vote for the bond in February. Our children deserve it.
