An interim Vancouver city attorney is taking over for Jonathan Young who resigned, effective Monday, to become SeaTac’s city manager.

Mayor Anne McEnerny-Ogle administered the city attorney’s oath of office to Nena Cook at Monday’s Vancouver City Council meeting. Cook was previously the deputy city attorney. Her salary in the interim role will be $248,616 annually.
