The Portland Thorns 2025 National Women’s Soccer League season will open on the road for the second-consecutive year, once again facing the Kansas City Current on March 15 at CPKC Stadium.

The NWSL announced its league schedule on Wednesday.

The Thorns’ home opener is the following week against Angel City on March 21 at Providence Park.

Portland will play a total of 26 games, facing each team twice, once at home and once on the road, with the last regular-season match of the year taking place on Nov. 2 against the Houston Dash at Providence Park.

This season, the Thorns are scheduled to have two matches televised on CBS, with an additional match on CBS Sports Network, as well as six matches streaming on Prime Video, four on ABC/ESPN and eight on Scripps Sports on ION Network.

The Thorns return 17 players from last year’s roster, including United States Women’s National Team Olympic Gold medalists Sam Coffey and Sophia Smith.

Also Wednesday, the Thorns signed UCLA defender Jayden Perry. In her four-year stint with the Bruins, she appeared in 86 matches, recording seven goals and four assists, and was part of UCLA’s 2022 national championship squad.
