VANCOUVER HEIGHTS — National Women’s Coalition Against Violence and Exploitation has been awarded $15,300 from more than 170 members of 100 Men Who Care Clark County.
“The 100 Men Who Care Clark County, hosted three nonprofits: NWCAVE, Metropolitan Performing Arts and Southwest Washington Wind Symphony. Three nonprofits did presentations for the support of the 173 members. NWCAVE received the most votes and won $15,300. The other two organizations each received $1,000. This was 100 Men’s largest attendance turnout in the last two years,” said Eric Sawyer, president of 100 Men Who Care.
“In the almost two decades of service to Clark County, this is our second largest single monetary donation ever received,” said Michelle Bart, founder of NWCAVE. “The funds will be used to enhance the vital services at our Advocacy Center for Justice that benefit crime victims,” said Bart.
