RIDGEFIELD – The Ridgefield Lions are thanking the community for its support for the organization’s Christmas tree sales. The thousands of dollars raised will go to Lions activities, including scholarships, assistance for the needy, vision screening and other support for schools.
“This was our fifth year of doing this, and it just keeps getting better and better,” Ridgefield Lions President Josh Olson said. “Some of our customers mentioned that this has already become a tradition for their family — going to the Lions Christmas tree lot and picking out a tree. That makes it special for us, as well.”
Olson thanked Ridgefield School District and the city of Ridgefield for their continued support of the tree lot location.
