A Vancouver elementary school student is one of 20 K-12 students nationwide selected as an American Heart Association youth ambassador for the 2024-25 school year.

Kora Copeland, 9, and her mother Shelly Copeland, 49, sent the association a video about the time Shelly Copeland went into sudden cardiac arrest.
