Battle Ground police are investigating a fatal single-vehicle crash that occurred early Wednesday morning.
Officers located a vehicle about 5:30 a.m. that had left the roadway and crashed into a tree near Northeast 239th Street and 33rd Avenue, according to a police news release.
The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Clark County Medical Examiner’s Office will release the identity of the deceased, according to the news release.
