Dana Miller joined Battle Ground HealthCare as interim executive director in January, following the retirement of longtime Executive Director Susan Neal, who served for more than 11 years.
For nearly 16 years, Miller led the Trust’s grant staff and programs. Miller brings a depth of knowledge and understanding of nonprofit leadership and organizational development that will assist the health care organization’s transition to its next leader.
Council for the Homeless recently welcomed community leaders Dorothy Chongkit and Dania Otto to its board of directors. Their dedication, experience and passion for community-driven solutions will help further the organization’s mission to prevent and end homelessness in Clark County, according to the nonprofit.
Dorothy Chongkit, newly appointed board secretary, brings a strong commitment to fostering collaboration and actionable solutions.
Dania Otto, appointed board member, is impassioned by her roots in the Chuukese community and is motivated by a deep sense of advocacy and engagement.

The Professional Women in Building and the Building Industry Association of Clark County announced the winners of the 2025 Pink Hard Hat Awards, recognizing outstanding women making an impact in the building industry. The awards celebrate leadership, innovation and excellence in various sectors.
This year’s distinguished honorees are:
- Community Leadership Award: Sarah Neibert, Affinity Homes.
- Industry Champion Award: Erin Lambley, Tapani Inc.
- Rising Star Award: Braeden Carnahan, Blaze Restoration
- Trailblazer Award: Wendy Lepisto, New Tradition Homes
- Woman of Design Award: Kaylin Harris, Affinity Homes
- Woman of Development Award: Jocelyn Cross, Hurley Development
- Woman of Innovation Award: Juli Talbert, West Coast General Construction
- Woman of Media Award: Laura Hanson, New Tradition Homes.
“The Pink Hard Hat Awards highlight the incredible contributions of women in the building industry,” said Candace Hanks, chair of Professional Women in Building of Clark County.
The awards ceremony was Feb. 20 at Royal Oaks Country Club in Vancouver.
