On Feb. 28, Donald Trump and JD Vance blind-sided Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in front of the world, berating him for not thanking the United States enough for America’s assistance in the war started by Putin — a war criminal that Trump seems to be siding with. I was embarrassed for this country watching this dishonorable display of childlike behavior.
Trump, a wannabe dictator, barred the Associated Press from the meeting because they still call the Gulf of Mexico the correct name instead of the Gulf of America. The Russian news agency Tass was allowed in the meeting. This whole thing smells like America now collaborating with the war criminal in the Kremlin; 80 years of America as the leader of the free world is on dangerous ground. Shameful.
