North of Falcon salmon fishery process remains on track

Government cutbacks to NOAA hasn’t hurt so far

The North of Falcon (NOF) process is under way right now.

Every year, state, federal, and tribal fisheries managers get together to hash out the Northwest’s recreational and commercial salmon fisheries.

The process involves a series of meetings between all the stakeholders, which includes representatives from the agencies, tribal governments, the recreational and commercial fishing industries, and the general public.
