Abbey Hite hit a go-ahead two-run home run in the bottom of the fourth as the Ridgefield softball team rallied from an early six-run deficit to beat Seton Catholic 9-7 on Thursday at the Ridgefield Outdoor Recreation Center.
Jocelyn Kender, Kenzie Kuhnhausen, Kyler McMaster, Ellie Travalia and Grace Farrell each had an RBI as part of a six-run first inning for Seton Catholic.
The Spudders chipped away with two runs in the first, one in the second and three in the third to tie the game 6-6.
Hite’s two-run homer in the fourth put the Spudders ahead to stay.
Hite finished 2 for 4 with three RBI. Tava Whitlow was 4 for 4, Gracie Olmos was 3 for 3 and Madeline Bruguier was 3 for 4 with two RBI for the Spudders.
Kingsley Williams had a double and triple and McMaster had two doubles for Seton.
Ellis fans 15 for Heritage
Jaila Ellis struck out 15 over 6.2 scoreless innings of work to lead Heritage softball to a 11-2 win over Hockinson.
Loreli Medina Cardenas was 3 for 4 with two runs, three doubles and three RBI for Heritage. Kylie Thomas, Garcie Peterson and Emma Messing each went 2 for 4 for the Timberwolves.
No-hitter for Thunder
Lucas Wolfley combined with Caleb Long on a five-inning no-hitter and Wolfley added a two-run double as the Mountain View baseball team beat Hockinson 11-0.
Wolfley struck out four and walked three over four innings for the Thunder. Brendon Lawson went 3 for 4 with three runs, a triple and five RBI.

Matt Manjooran, Camas baseball, went 2 for 2 with a run, double and three RBI, including what proved to be the winning run in a rain-shortened 6-5 win over Prairie.
Tyler Thompson, Washougal baseball, allowed no earned runs over five innings of pitching and went 2 for 3 with a run, double and three RBI in a 6-3 win over King’s Way Christian.
Bryce Wang, Columbia-White Salmon baseball, had a three-run triple then came around to score on an error to cap a six-run sixth inning for the Bruins in a 6-5 win at Woodland.
Jack Kerker, Castle Rock baseball, went 2 for 4 with three runs and triple and two RBI as the Rockets scored three in the bottom of the sixth to rally to a 15-14 win over Toutle Lake.
JP Guzman, Columbia River soccer, had two goals and three assists as the Rapids beat Mark Morris 8-0.
Eric Garcia, R.A. Long soccer, had two goals and an assists in a 6-0 win over Woodland.
Daniel Reyes, Mountain View soccer, had two goals in a 5-0 win over Rogers-Puyallup.
