Donald Wilson has resigned as varsity boys basketball coach at Seton Catholic after two seasons, the school announced.
The school said Wilson stepped down from his position “to focus on other endeavors outside of high school athletics.”
Seton Catholic was 38-16 in his two seasons as coach, leading the Cougars to undefeated Trico League titles both seasons.
Seton Catholic reached the 1A state tournament in both seasons. The Cougars earned the school’s first state trophy in boys basketball in 2023-24 as Seton placed sixth at state.
“The Seton Catholic Community would like to extend a huge thank you to Coach Donald Wilson for his time as an assistant coach and for the last two years as the boys basketball head coach here at Seton Catholic,” said Kristi Burton, Seton’s assistant athletic director. “Donald has been a part of our Seton family for years, and we wish him all the best in his future endeavors.”
