Vancouver resident Ashley Bugge traversed the fjords off the shore of Tromsø, a city north of the Arctic Circle in Norway, with a group in 2022. Not long after, she co-founded The Seabirds, an all female expedition team that provides scientific exploration opportunities for students and adults.
