RIDGEFIELD — On March 11, Ridgefield School District officials recognized the March 2025 employees and students of the month during the regular Board of Directors meeting.
The March employees of the month are Stacie Andrew, who works in food service at Union Ridge Elementary School, and Shelle House, an art teacher at Ridgefield High School.
Andrew, who works for district contractor Chartwells, is the person responsible for overseeing both of Union Ridge Elementary School’s kitchens and managing meals and snacks at the Early Learning Center. She was honored for consistently remarkable leadership and commitment. Her positive attitude creates a welcoming cafeteria environment that students and staff genuinely appreciate. Beyond her role in the kitchen, Andrew has been a mentor to her staff and built meaningful connections with students and the wider community.
House fosters an environment where creativity and personal growth flourish. According to her citation, she provides thoughtful, constructive feedback, helping students push beyond their comfort zones while building confidence. Her classroom is a safe haven where students feel encouraged and supported.
The March students of the month are Lanoa Kalawe, Imelda Trujillo, Paisley Zornado, Cesar Chavez Lopez, Faizal Mumuni, Audrey Reid and Noah Stromberg.
