Spring means lots of nearby salt-water fishing options

Bottom fish, halibut, salmon and tuna all available off Washington coast

Washington’s salt water seasons officially started on March 8 when the bottom fishing season opened.

However, tough ocean conditions made it impossible to get out after the fish. Spring weather is just around the corner, though, and undoubtedly the situation will improve.

Local anglers will be heading to the coast in droves to get in on the bounty.
