Here comes Peter Cottontail

Vancouver Mall, 8700 N.E. Vancouver Mall Drive, Vancouver, will offer photos with the Easter Bunny daily though April 29 in JCPenney court. Visiting hours are 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Mondays through Fridays; 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturdays; and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sundays. Reservations are recommended at bit.ly/3vUbw8F. From 4 to 7 p.m. Mondays, March 31 and April 7, visitors may bring leashed or crated pets for Easter Bunny photo sessions. Make reservations for pet photos at bit.ly/49hOAi2. Boogie for books

The Friends of the Washougal Community Library will hold Soul Line Dancing on Friday in the Hathaway Elementary school cafeteria, 630 24th St., Washougal. Teens and adults can learn beginner line dances to soul, R&B and contemporary hits. Admission is $5 for ages 17 and younger and $10 for ages 18 and older. A song to remember

The Cascade Park Community Library, 600 N.E. 136th Ave., Vancouver, will host “Welcome Home” from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday in honor of National Vietnam War Veterans Day. “Singin’ Senior” Bobby Derricotte will offer music to honor Americans who served in Vietnam and the sacrifices made by their families. The event is free. Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7824, 400 N. Andresen Road, Vancouver, will host a complimentary lunch for Vietnam veterans from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday. Trip the light fantastic

The Lucas Holmgren Trio will perform in the Grand Ballroom at Cloverlane Mercantile and Event Center, 16391 N.E. 182nd Ave., Hockinson, from 8 to 10 p.m. Saturday. Hear hits and new songs while dancing on the building’s original 1931 dance floor. The pub will offer drinks and pub fare for sale. Tickets are $10 at cloverlaneevents.com.

Saddle up

Equine Packing and Camping” is a free educational clinic from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday that will cover packing, high lining, hobble training and out-of-state travel requirements. The event, hosted by Mount St. Helen’s Chapter of Back Country Horsemen and Washington Trail Riders Association, is at the Clark County Saddle Club, 11407 N.E. 174th St., Battle Ground.
