Washington Columbia River tributary fishing report for April 19-27

Salmon/Steelhead

Cowlitz River from Interstate 5 bridge downstream — 98 bank rods kept one Chinook and released two steelhead; two boats/four rods had no catch.

Cowlitz River above I-5 bridge — 46 bank rods kept five Chinook and released one Chinook; four boats/11 rods kept three Chinook, one jack, and released two Chinook.

Kalama River — 39 bank anglers kept five Chinook, two jacks, one steelhead, and released one steelhead; 20 boats/52 rods kept 12 Chinook, one steelhead, and released one steelhead.

Lewis River — 33 bank rods kept eight Chinook and one jack; 14 boats/34 rods kept eight Chinook and released one steelhead.

Wind River — Four bank anglers had no catch; 64 boats/173 rods kept 44 Chinook and released two Chinook.

Little White Salmon (Drano Lake) — 49 bank anglers kept 11 Chinook; 158 boats/456 rods kept 172 Chinook, released two Chinook and one steelhead.

Klickitat River below Fisher Hill Bridge — Two bank anglers had no catch

Kress Lake — 2,500 brown trout, 3.00 fish per pound from Mossyrock Hatchery.

April 25

Lake Sacajawea — 2,000 rainbow, 2.00 fish per pound from Mossyrock Hatchery.
