Zelda, a 2-year-old black domestic long-hair cat, was a stray running the streets when she came to the Humane Society. She will need to be indoors to keep her coat free of matts. Zelda is among the cats available for adoption from noon to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday at the Humane Society for Southwest Washington, 1100 N.E. 192nd Ave., Vancouver. The Humane Society is closed to the public on Mondays. Fees -- which can include registered microchip, health exam, a spay or neuter certificate and vaccination -- vary.
