Students in the Frank Lloyd Wright School of Architecture, from left; Soham Shah, Garth Lindquist and Connor Bingham work Saturday, Feb. 22, 2014, on restoring the "Lotus Shelter" that was built in 1963 by Valley architect Kamal Amin, at Taliesin West in Scottsdale, Ariz.   The Lotus Shelter  is half-enclosed in a curved line of concrete block wall oriented toward the morning sun. The metal roof is a floating lotus-like design, and painted sunny yellow in the interior with a fireplace and chimney in the rear.
