Post offices will extend hours for holiday needs

Portland-area post offices are offering extended hours at certain retail locations to make shipping more convenient during the holiday season.

For the next two weekends (Dec. 9-10 and Dec. 16-17), the following post offices will offer extended hours on Saturdays and Sundays:

• Vancouver Main Post Office, 2700 Caples Ave., Saturdays 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sundays 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

• Portland Main Post Office, 715 N.W. Hoyt St., Saturday 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

• Portland Eastport Plaza (Lents Station), 3850 S.E. 82nd St., Saturday and Sunday 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

• Tigard, Ore., Branch, 12210 S.W. Main St., Sundays 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

• Beaverton, Ore., Main Post Office, 4550 S.W. Betts Ave., Saturday and Sunday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

• Beaverton, Ore., Aloha Branch, 3800 S.W. 185th Ave., Sundays 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

• Hillsboro, Ore., Main Post Office, 125 S. First Ave., Saturdays 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

• Gresham, Ore., Main Post Office, 103 W. Powell Blvd., Sunday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The post offices also have holiday Forever Stamps, Priority Mail supplies and packing items for shipping.
