The event was organized by Why Racing, and attendees were encouraged to dress in costume. Plans are already in the works for next year's event, which will also include a half marathon. Overall winners in the 5k were David Thacker (18.11), and Brittany White (19:24). The 10k winners were David Engstrom (35:12) and Stephanie Spiak (46:31).
