Man killed, 4 people hurt in rollover crash

ARLINGTON, Wash. (AP) — One man is dead and four people are hospitalized following a rollover crash north of Arlington.

Lt. Rob Palmer of the Snohomish County sheriff’s office says the single-car accident occurred about 2 p.m. Sunday.

He says The car left the road, flipped over and ejected several of the occupants

Palmer says a 19-year-old man believed to have been the driver, died, while a 19-year-old male and a 17-year-old male were hospitalized with life-threatening injuries. Two 15-year-old girls were being treated for less serious injuries.

He says investigators believe the accident was caused by excessive speed, but that there was no indication that drugs or alcohol were involved.
