WAPATO, Wash. (AP) — The Yakima County sheriff’s office says a body found Thursday in an irrigation canal in the Wapato area appears to be male. The sheriff’s office says it appears the body has been in the canal for several months.
The county coroner will try to establish the person’s identity and cause of death.
