BREMERTON, Wash. (AP) — A Bremerton woman told police someone was writing messages on her car in lipstick. She didn’t know who or why.

The Kitsap Sun reports one lipstick threat was, “I’m testifying against you drug dealer.”

A neighbor caught the vandal Saturday, and police went to talk to the suspect.

The 51-year-old woman admitted writing the messages. She said she did it to force a man to go into drug treatment.

The only problem with her plan, the officer told her, was that wasn’t the man’s car.

The case was referred to the city attorney’s office for a possible harassment charge.
