Vancouver police arrested a motorist on suspicion of DUI on Tuesday afternoon after he allegedly hit at least one vehicle in the Rose Village neighborhood and fled the scene.
Shortly after 3 p.m. Tuesday, officers were called to the area of East 39th and P streets, where the suspect’s vehicle crashed into another vehicle and he drove away, said Sgt. Greg Raquer.
Minutes later, officers stopped the suspect as he entered Interstate 5 northbound.
The suspect was taken to the Clark County Jail on suspicion of drunken driving.
The police report hadn’t been completed late Tuesday night and Raquer did not release the suspect’s name.
